Center Policies

Terms of Use

  • Because we are located near other businesses, our space is not suitable for prolonged loud activities.  Please keep the noise level down to a dull roar or what you’d expect at an office building.

  • Many of the businesses in our center see clients who may be discussing confidential matters or who may be having a relaxing treatment, please consider this as you use common ways like the waiting room, hallways, bathrooms, and kitchenettes.

  • Please use the noise cancelation devices provided when seeing clients or making additional noise.

Common Areas

  • Common Areas (waiting rooms, bathrooms, and hallways) should be kept clear of personal items and trash.

  • If your clients leave cups or wrappers in the waiting room, please be kind and toss them in the trash.

  • Please be mindful when using the shared refrigerator keeping long-term stored items to a minimum.

Storage Closet

  • The center’s storage closets should only be used to store center supplies, furniture, and equipment.  All other uses need to be pre-approved in writing.

  • Please do not store boxes, signs, or personal items without permission.

  • Since we are a shared space, the center is furnished and decorated for everyone to share.  We ask that you do not bring in personal furniture, light fixtures, wall pictures, or other personal installations without explicit written permission.  We can’t be held responsible for any damage that may occur to items you bring into the center and leave.  This does not apply to rooms licensed/rented Full Time.

Shared Space

  • Please only use the space you are licensing for the time you agreed to, do not use a different room without prior approval or reservation.  A room may look empty but you never know who may be coming in or who has a reservation.

Closing Up

  • The last person to leave each night is responsible for turning off any common area lights, turning the HVAC to Auto if you are in 1D, and locking the 1D & 1B Door.

  • Note: if you leave really late at night between 9:30 pm and 11:00 pm in the winter, the door does auto lock and in the frigid New England weather the door sometimes freezes.  If this happens to you, simply pull the door in and push the latch, it should then open.  This only happens on the side door, if this bothers you, you can always go through 1B, through the large group room, and out that exit.  We've been trying to fix this one for over a year, but until it is fixed please be mindful of this quirky door.
